There is no formal audition, but prospective players are required to be able to play to a reasonable standard (roughly Grade 5 or above) and make a regular commitment to the Band's concerts and events.

We are currently open to new members joining. Please contact us via the Contact Us page or via email at egcb.enquiries@gmail.com.

We rehearse every Wednesday from 8pm - 10pm upstairs in the East Grinstead Branch of the Royal British Legion, Station Road, East Grinstead (RH19 1DJ). There is ample parking nearby.

We are in particular looking for new members in the following sections:

Trombones (Bass Clef)

Tuba

Bassoon

Bass Clarinet

Oboe

All Band members are expected to fund and make their own arrangements for attending rehearsals and engagements. The Band is entirely self-sufficient financially and as such members pay a small subscription towards music and uniform.
